Meet the Team Members Who Will be Working With You:


Dr. Patrick Leclair


Dr. Patrick Leclair – Physician and Founder

Dr. Leclair was born in Montreal and was trained at University of Montreal faculty of medicine. He then did his residency in family medicine at Sacré-Coeur Hospital.

He was awarded a Masters degree in pharmacology and an undergraduate degree in medical biology. Dr. Leclair has privileges at Montfort Hospital and is attached to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is now focusing on his practice in addictions medicine at Recovery Ottawa.

Dr. Leclair serves his patients in both French and English.

Dr. Michel Albert


Dr. Michel Albert – Physician

Dr. Michel (Mike) Albert was born and raised in southern New Brunswick. He obtained his medical degree in 2004 at the University of Ottawa and obtained his family medicine certificate in 2006 from Memorial University in Newfoundland. He also received his Canadian College of Family Physicians Emergency Medicine certificate in 2011.

Along with practicing addiction medicine, he works part time at the Montfort Hospital emergency department.

Dr. Albert can serve his patients in both French and English.

Mark Herrington


Mark Herrington – Co-founder

Mark Herrington was an Addictions and Mental Health Nurse at the Cornwall Community Hospital Community Withdrawal Management centre, and an Addictions Nurse, Residential Action Counsellor, and Psychiatric Nurse for the St. Denis Centre.

He also worked at the Akwesasne Campus of IO HA HI:IO as an instructor for the Social Service Worker Program in Addiction and Pharmacology, and as a Student Success Facilitator for the campus. Mr. Herrington is an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, and a member of the Natural Acupuncture Detoxification Association, (NADA). He is also a certified telemedicine nurse.
