Mental Health Support
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and mental health are closely connected. Challenges with mental health can lead to substance use, and substance use can, in turn, impact mental health. We recognize how these experiences can overlap and affect each person differently.
At Recovery Care, we are here to support the whole person. Our Case Management team offers informal counselling, emotional support, and de-escalation in a safe and supportive environment. We also help connect patients to appropriate mental health services in the community, including referrals to more specialized or ongoing care when needed.
Mental health support through Case Management is available to individuals receiving care at our ByWard, Vanier and Cornwall locations.
